There are some odds, it works better if you have it installed on your system before you have deleted the file. As the windows have a fragile environment, the recently deleted files are recovred in good condition but as you go back in time, there is quite less chances of getting what you aimed for.

nice way to recover the files. I had deleted some of my favorite pics by mistake, it recovered all those.
@kumar: this software can also be used to recover any file like spreadsheet or word also, you can also try to recover pics from your memory card.
It really is tricky to speak about and even tougher to do something about it.
