How to print list of all the files from a folder

In this tutorial we will be discussing about the way to print out the list of files in a folder. There are plenty of shareware programs that can do that but the simplest way to do this is by using command prompt. 

Here is the procedure: 

1. Go to start and then click on the 'Run' type cmd then click on OK. In windows 7 type cmd.exe in the search box in the start menu. 

2. This will open command prompt, now in the command prompt, find the folder that you want to print. 

3. When you find the required folder, type dir> list.txt this will create a text document with the list of files.
